Some of the most useful applications are for YouTube videos, saving LPs and other musical hardware or for live transmission such as TV or radio. Some helpful extra features like noise reduction can help get the most out of older or decayed audio sources, all clearly labelled in a basic user interface. Cool Record Edit Pro does have the disadvantage of being slightly outdated, meaning that some newer audio file types and modern features are unavailable. This makes the app less useful for larger transfers, such as digitising an entire LP collection, but fine for smaller scale use. A complete lack of video support also mean YouTube videos are lost during transfer.
